Optimizing your Instagram for Business bio

So you made an Instagram Business account, but don’t know how to make it epic?

Here’s how you need to start - by making a killer introduction!

Handle and Photo

The first thing people typically come across when browsing Instagram will be your handle and your account photo.

Your handle should be @[yourbusinessname], and your photo should either be a logo, or a photo of yourself if you’re a one-person show.

Be direct and show people who you are right away!

Name and Bio Keywords

The Name field should be your business name. And try to include as many relevant searchable words as you can! If you’re a baker, for example, use Your Business Bakery.

Use similar keywords in your bio blurb when writing about what you offer. Let people find you when they’re searching!

Link to Your Website

Include a link to your website or online shop in the URL space so that your audience can easily visit your page.

They want to learn more info about your business or buy from your shop - get them to the platform where they can support you!

Call to Action

Always include a call to action in your blurb! Showcase your newsletter and invite people to subscribe.
Tell people about your newest promotion and where they can take advantage of it!

All of these pieces of your Instagram bio will come together and create a cohesive vision of your business that will get your audience excited about who you are and what you offer!
